📖 Биография
One of the most popular leading men in the post-2000 Bollywood film market, actor John Abraham parlayed his modeling career into a successful run as a star of action thrillers and romantic dramas like "Dhoom" (2004), "Force" (2011) and "Race 2" (2013), which in turn gave him the clout to branch into producing the surprise hit comedy "Vicky Donor" (2012). Abraham's chiseled physique and smoldering good looks make him an ideal candidate for tough cops, roguish criminals and idealized lovers, but often keep him from claiming more substantive roles, despite concerted efforts in more complex pictures like "No Smoking" (2007). As a result, Abraham branched out into producing, scoring a major hit with "Vicky Donor," a comedy about sperm donation that was both a commercial and critical hit. The unexpected success spurred him to take greater risks with his own acting career, which paid off with his turn as a hardened criminal in the drama "Shootout in Wadala" (2013). Abraham's shrewd business decisions in front of and behind the camera helped to make him one of the contemporary Indian film industry's most accomplished multi-hyphenates.
